Why over-speed alerts are not getting generated?

Over-speed alerts have an important role to maintaining road safety and preventing accidents.

There are few countries where specific road have defined speed and if violate it could result in penalties or any legal action.

Here are some reasons why an over-speed alert could not generate and how can you rectify it. 

Alert configuration must be proper #

To verify #

  • Login to your account.
  • Navigate to Setting > General > Alert. 
    • Double click on the alert and Verify Alert type ‘Over Speed‘.

Data must be available as per the alert configuration #

To verify check the data on the system log report or in the Travel detail Report and compare the data with above point of alert configuration.

For the system log report,

  • Navigate to Report > Logs > System Log Report.
  • Check for the date and time the over speeding was done.
  • See if the same speed we have received on the platform from device. 
  • Also, check that any Historical data has been received refer the history data column.

To verify the history data in detail, you need to compare the below columns.
         

For Travel detail report #

  • Navigate to Report > Activity > Travel report. 

The right side of the web page will show a filter option after you click on the Travel report, allowing you to choose the date and object for which you want the detail report. 

  • Once you add all the details, click on Apply.

After the above steps, you will have a travel daily report.

To get the detailed report need to doubleclick on the travel daily report.
