Load sensors are devices that are attached to the axle to measure the weight of a vehicle/ trolley. Calibration of the load sensor is done to ensure that the software is accurately tracking the weight which is important for managing the weight and safety of the vehicle, as well as for regulatory compliance.
Before you get started #
You need to configure the weight sensor details in the object profile.
- Login to your account
- Go to Settings > General > Object
- Double-click on the object record for which you want to calibrate the sensor.
- Navigate to Profile.
- Click on the checkbox of Weight Sensor.
- Click on the checkbox of Weight Sensor.

- In Object Empty Weight enter the weight of the vehicle when it is empty.

- In Object Full Weight enter the weight of the vehicle when it is loaded fully.
- In Load Capacity enter the load capacity of the vehicle by deducting the vehicle’s empty weight from the vehicle’s full weight.
- Underweight Tolerance value is given 25 % by default. You can change it according to your requirement. Here, 25% of the total load will be considered as under weight.
- Overweight Tolerance value is given 10% by default. You can change it according to your requirement. Here, 10% of the total load will be considered as overweight.
- Loading/ Unloading Tolerance The default value is provided as 5 %. You can change it according to your needs. Here, 5% of the total load will be considered as loading/unloading tolerance.
To get started #
- Navigate to Sensors
- Activate the connection type by clicking on the checkbox given in the Active column.
- Click on the dropdown of Connected Sensor and select Load Sensor.
- Click on the Calibration button. A new window will appear.
- Select Load Unit from the dropdown list.
- Click on the save 💾 icon.
- Select Load Unit from the dropdown list.
- Click on the save 💾 icon to save the entire configuration.
Please Note: If you have more than one load sensor you have to configure them separately using the same process.
