Alerts are a critical component in notifying fleet managers or other designated personnel via email, text message, or other channels, enabling them to immediately address possible problems and preserve regulatory compliance.

There would be a possibility for any inconvenience to occur if the notifications were not generated.

Incorrect alert configuration

Login to your account.

  • Navigate to Setting > General > Alert
  • Check for CompanyBranchName of alert & for which object the alert is configured properly.

Please follow the steps below if the configuration is missing:

Configure the alert from theĀ Web portal

Historical Data received
If the device sends history data it would be inappropriate to generate the alert because the event has already passed away.

To verify #

  • Login to your account.
  • Click on Report > Logs > System log
  • Search for the vehicle number in the object selection option
  • Select the vehicle and click on Apply
  • System log summary report would be generated.
  • Double-click on the record to see the detailed view of the system log

Alerts such as ignition, power, etc are dependent to connect the sensor so verify whether those sensors are connected in the sensor tab of the object screen.

With the exception of ignition, power, and other sensor-based alerts, no alerts will be generated if invalid data is received.

On the object alert screen, you will be able to find, if the alert is generated or not.

To verify #

  • Login to your account.
  • Click on Report > Alert > Object Alert
  • Select for which companybranch or alert type you want to check.
  • Select the date for which the alert needs to be verified

You can directly search with the object number and the date to check for the alert event.
